The second video in my rc boat series, it is coming together nicely and it should be interesting to see how it works. total cost: $12 left to spend: $38.. At that size, maybe a dumas pt boat would give you the basics..... while not a true deep-v, it is a big boat and will take a lot of power. at minimum, take a close look at the manufacturers' offerings - their specs will give you length/beam, angle of the v (deadrise, i think it's called) and recommended power and weight...... Newish to model boating (have plenty of experience of boating but times are hard), and like the look of the 48" deep vee. i have managed to print the plans of the internal structure. a few words of advice needed..
